Between the rush of ceremonies surrounding Veterans Week and Remembrance Day to the exciting fast paced adventure up north, it’s been busy behind the scenes of The Brigade. This last issue had its challenges – the soldiers have been so busy with ceremonial, community and training work; there was a lot to pack into this newsletter.
I’ve been the lay-out editor of The Brigade for the past year and the opportunity has truly been incredible. Working with a great team and having the chance to cover and shoot stories myself, it’s been an adventure.
All of the late nights spent shifting around content and choosing photos will be fondly remembered as times when I used the deepest parts of my inner strength to push through. Nothing builds character like completing a 30-page rough lay-out in less than four days!
Of course, you can browse through all The Brigade newsletters, but in this last issue of the 2011- 2012 year, we’ve got stories ranging from Exercise Arctic Ram coverage to Change of Command ceremonies. A full list of upcoming events is also included on page four.
I have to say thank you once more to 38 CBG – its soldiers and those directly involved with The Brigade, for this opportunity.Bravo!
